A "verified complaint" is a complain that includes an oath by the party bringing the complaint certifying that what is stated in the complaint is true. You should see a "verification" form or area where there is the signature of the person making the statement and a notary stamp for notarization of the signature.

What is the governing law that is applicable to this lawsuit?

It's filed in Federal Court. JBI is a Neveda corporation that was doing business in Massachusetts, and now operates out of Canada and New York and has subs in Ohio. The plantiff who brought the suit lives in Pennsylvania.

Its a Federal Securities issue, but I think that the State Law where the Corporation is domiciled can sometimes come into play.

It's almost as if Juicy Johnny made this as complicated as possible in anticipation of this sort of thing.

I was thinking the same thing about 'verification'. If its just somebody signing that everything is true and correct, it seems to be a needless redundancy.
