to quote my good friend here WRONG: If/when you get your OTOW card, you get the instructions on how to activate and load it etc. Part of the instructions then direct you to "any Green Dot location" etc. for reloading or online through putchase of a MoneyPak from Green Dot online etc. I would scan and post the instructions, but who cares/why bother. but maybe if you go to cardflesprepaid.com, which is how you activate, or call 1-866-345-4011 (another way to activate), or perhaps call the Pope at teh Vatican, you can confirm that the OTOW card, run through CardFlex Prepaid Mastercard is, alas, 100% part of Green Dot.

It may look that way but that could not be further from the truth, the cards will provide much needed revenue.

And this will not happen overnight.

And I agree, I don't want to look like a card company that happens to dabble in the cell phone buisness.

Yes, I did some DD on these types of cards or banking yesterday after emz said green dot is part of 02 usa cards. The fees are really similar but again I can't see why someone would wait 10 days to recieve this card and pay 5 bucks more when green dot cards are right there in the store. The instructions on the 02 usa website says to load the card with cash go to a green dot location and follow their instructions which charges like 3 bucks to load cash. They all have free direct deposit but I don't see many folks going thru this type of card or banking for direct deposit. Those folks use traditional banking where there are many that don't charge fees for anything with a checking account. My conclusion came to Val better have some damn good promotions and advertising set up because there is stiff compition out there for this type of banking.
