Dew...

Does the bufferfly's wings in Singapore change the weather in San Francisco....

First ask to Kwai Chang Caine I believe...

Though you might be right about Roche's Dalcetrapib being a non issue in regards to Amarin, I would not put all my money on it...The thing that concerns me and could be an issue in all these CETP inhibitors is the reported rise in LP-pla2 in the Roche trial..LP-pla2 though not on the recomended list for CAD evaluation (it lacks a propper outcomes study) does go to the heart of the issue in CAD which is arterial wall inflamation...

Looking at the complex lipid situation in a very simple way..there is the camp that focuses on LDL as the prime offender and another group who feels the combination of elevated trigs and low HDL is what should be treated...Discrediting a therapy which attempts to raise HDL would certainly raise AMR101's value. I am not saying the CETP agents have been discredited, but IMHO the LP-pla2 issue is a flashing red light.

Also it seems Roche is going to abandon Dalcetrapib and this could put Roche in the position of considering buying AMRN...

Just some thoughts...

Regards...nice day today for a change....
