I suspect that few people know that they can go right to a post in single-mode from batch mode by clicking somewhere in the post number box and hitting Enter.
That was what I meant by:
It would also make the same reply functions that are available when viewing each post in regular mode also be available in batch mode without having to individually load the post to which one wanted to reply privately.
You just said it better and more precisely, but I suspect you are right that few realize the affect of placing the cursor in that window and hitting enter.
Is there a way to go from the "Post#" window in batch mode to the single post in a new window rather than exiting the batch mode? That, too, would save having to exit batch mode to reply privately.
