No thank you. If you could put up with this, on a constant basis, you are either legally insane, have no life, or a better man than me. I can take it in rations, that's it. After a short period of time, I lose my patience with the topic and general idiocy.

Bob, out of curiosity, where did we ever get with the discussion of allowing boards where people could exclude people or basically run it however they wanted?

Not that I'm proposing it, but trying to refresh my mind on how far along we were towards doing it or not.

Edit: Ok, I have an idea that I'd like to try, that we've never done. I'd like to try, for a 3 month period, to allow a "controlled" board. Let's call it "e.Digital Controlled (EDIG)" -- where, I am totally hands-off as the Admin. It's the Moderator(s) board to run. We leave the EDIG board, as the main forum, as it is. It is run the same as it is, except I am the sole Moderator. The EDIG controlled is run entirely by Tinroad/GoSilver/whoever. I'd like to see which one is stronger after 3 months.

My gamble? The main EDIG one, that I run.

that could be placed into the board header, or actually appended
to the board name when it is displayed.

Looooooooooong many months ago i suggested that each boad
have a shadow board that allows the creator of a board to ban
anyone deemed counterproductive
a.k.a. Smells like a Raging Bull using Duck Test :o)
and this shadow board has NO administrator attached and open
to all people without any deletions of posts except for those that
include Without a Doubt serious TOU violations.

Try it as an example and i'll bet that the folks now shouting loud
that certain "negative peopel are..." types being banned from the
board not in the Shadow, but "their" Light of Truth (aka) agenda
being to make money off this company trading its shares "long"
would eventually ban 90% of posters as not "long" enough.

or, If a board does a Crash & Burn via a Raging Bull'ness
then, so be it as an example for "long(s)" to fight better using
the support of IHub as having BobZ & Matt to complain to
versus a RB Black Hole.
