I have no idea why Newman hasn't been charged for some of her crimes. At one time she was shown as an officer in 7 NV SOS corporations.
When Dial set up shop in Swinford's office, in early 2005, he brought Lois with him. When CTBG was spun off from GFCI, Lois was made President of CTBG.. There is not doubt in my mind that Dial somehow forced Swinford to keep her in his office, as Dial's spy.
When questioned by one of the few callers he spoke with, he explained Lois being made President of CTBG this way. ( this is a paraphrase from my memory)
"The day we were signing the CTBG incorporation papers, I didn't have anyone in mind to be President. Dial said Lois come in here and sign some papers. You're now the President o9f CTBG."
IMO, that story is complete BS. Ed Leonard had already moved from GFCI to CTBG. ( This was after the mugging.) Jerry knew that Lois was a skummy scaammer. She stayed with CTBG for a few months after she and Nick formed NuTech, which was playing off a Swinford/ Hammelmann concept.
This whloe mess could be a plot for a movie. It's got the slimy criminals, the titty bar for a sleazy sex angle and maybe official corruption.It just lacks some bloody scenes. I have one in mind.
