One can watch the movement of any public company on any exchange and realize the day to day movement of the sp is controlled by market makers. Short term movements are controlled by wall street. Long term movements are indeed controlled by the performance of the company. This is why a sp will fall on good news and rise on bad or no news. Companies have very little or nothing to do with day to day movements. Seen this patern on Q lately? The share price of any stock will move to the benefit of wall street plain and simple. Q could PR today a contract with DirectTV and the stock will move up or down to the benefit of the street, not the shareholders. The MM's will move a stock in the direction which makes them money not the shareholders. It's a numbers game. As a shareholder it is best to ignore the path taken and focus on the pot at the end of rainbow, otherwise the street will take your money by playing with the emotional element of fear and greed.
I replied to one thing: I don't believe Frank had anything to do with the Ludlow coverage and they aren't even talking about it anymore.....so they PR'd it and then dropped the discussion.....
