Optimistically, we can rosy glass it and say MIKP has reached a new dev phase now. Net profits from the sale of White Space could fund Horse, Barrel, and other low budget films, and Mark now has the St James vehicle to peddle these films to foreign markets. imo, That's the key biz motivation for the SJF acquisition.
But, personally, after so many false starts, I'll believe that utopia when I see it achieve repetitive motion.
(btw, given the GRRM association, I expect Skin Trade will be funded by private investors, as White Space was, with a budget beyond MIKP's current abilities, thus the general delay in ST production).
