RSAS earnings out Tues. morning so it was a little risky to hold but we were looking for "anticipatory upswing" which we got for the last few days. So where were you when the market was tanking? When was it bad enough to exit? Never?
Of course we are not sure the bubble won't come back, but we sure as are not stupid enough to push this. We got the meat and we are just on the spare ribs for now. Even today although RIMM was upgraded to strong buy JNPR, CIEN, BRCD, INSP, NVDA IBM were all "gappers and crappers" but we got some good earnings plays which is where we find good plays. Technology will come back sure, But I'll pay 13 bucks for CSCO while others paid 60 because that is the value. I pay for value and not hype. We shorted the hype sold to us by the analysts.. and if we need to short them again, we most assuredly will not hesitate. As for now, we are only holding some puts sparingly and going long where we need to.
QLGC gorgeous on the long side. thank you for pointing out how 'selfish' we were. We went long early this morning on QLGC and we are up FANTASTICALLY.. oh by the way, if we are up TOO MUCH, we might just short at the close. So sorry, we go with the trend and not with ridiculous remarks by posters, upgrades/downgrades by analysts we go with our own analysis. There is nothing more absurd than listening to anonymous cyber figures giving us advice. QLGC.. can't get enough of this beauty. Hope you caught that chart, anyhow probably we short QLGC either in the morning or in a later day session. Its a gorgeous, and I would really hold it but if I don't short someone else will.
