Reid: Thanks for your post. I'm not an expert on candlesticks, though I do use them with bar charts and of course on the dinner table. One thing I forget to mention; I also look at the sectors...the weekly and daily sector charts give me a nice sense of the major trend. One recent sector that we noted was the broker/dealer sector....hence the MER and LEH shorts. Lee.
