I'll have some free time next week (week of 15th) to really put some braintime into iHub.
There's some coding projects I could likely take on. (Breathe, Bob, I'll let you test 'em.) I'm really wanting to get into some slick marketing ideas and keep this recent momentum going.
Here's one I found interesting.
Matt, Yes I am suggesting something very different. The posting volume on IH has grown significantly, particulary on the IDCC board. Most of the posts are nonsense, or of little value. What I'm recommending is a new service that will 'alert' a premium member when certain posters have posted on IH by either sending them a private message (PM) or an email that the target member has posted and provide a link to that post. Pesonally, by recieving these PM/email alerts, I would not have to spend hours of my time scanning the board looking for posts of value. This service would be a real time saver. I really believe this would give your board an edge over other boards.
IMO, email alerts will add significant value to the IH experience. Many long time nonsubscribing users should find this value added service important and convinient enough to upgrade their subscription.
Example: Basically, a Google alert will send an email to my mailbox everytime a key word is mentioned. I use this service to support my investing and my business activity.
