Matt, a while back you were asking for nifty new features.

How about this... keyword alerts.

It would be like any other board on your favorites page. It would pop up to show the number of new messages that have been made across the site that contain the keyword(s) you've set it for. Then, you just click on the link to read them.

The idea being, traders who mention a stock usually don't mention it on the board of that stock. The posts are scattered all over the site, and like Churak was saying we have to search for them.

For instance, I could program the bot to look for any new post containing the word HPON, MXRT, Marx, PFE, Pfizer, or Burpzilla (to know who's talking about me :). Whenever the browser refreshes on the favorites page, voila, there they are.

Or, the posts could be delivered via PM.

Definitely a premium feature, with all the searching it would cause, but if it's limited to one-day searches (not the whole database), and a max number of keywords, and for preemies only... ?

I've considered such a feature, along with text-messaging the user's phone at their discretion, and my biggest concern is that it could result in so much of that kind of traffic that it'd be useless to the people using it.
