I am gathering a bunch of my important posts from the last 1 years because I am sure one day I will wake up and SI will be defunct. i already have the important posts from the other 'eras'. You have to understand that many people have lost money, positions. Some of these people need to call attention to themselves by any means possible. The tactics are dubious and unacceptable for the most part in legitimate professional circles. This forum is a tiny, teeny part of our daily routine and multi-faceted service and even if we had stayed on SI it would have been in a 'commercial' capacity. Commercial Financial sites and SI are not compatible. They have nothing to offer.
We enjoyed our 4 years and it was a win-win situation for Silicon Investor. We were there in the BEST of times when it was a pleasure to be among great threads and thread heads strived for QUALITY and on-topic educational posts. Things were fantastic and it was onwards and upwards. We had the link on the Market Gems Website and then on the Pristine website (55,000 subscribers worldwide and growing) directly to SI and we brought a number of subscribers to SI since we posted Intraday updates there for about 2 years. They were very happy with the arrangement. We just outgrew them especially as their administrative powers are curtailed and there is no one to consult with any longer.
It is for occasional posting for traders who might enjoy sharing views on stocks, recipes, gangs, multiple aliases, how to get 'around' the terms of use rules.. etc. Times changed their halo is gone.
