#4364 RE: DewDiligence #4355

DEW

I said that MON may under perform other global companies. MON has headwinds now and the easy growth is maybe over? When Greenpeace goes after a company they have a lot of clout, when groups in California go after GM, they have been trendsetters in the past for many US policies such as auto emmisions and gas mileage new car requirements.

Then we have the test of time and health studies showing the negatives of GMO surfacing. Many people confuse cross pollination that has brought us nice things like seedless oranges and grapes, but GM food is basically new food. New food should be tested with humans same as pharmaceuticals, but it is not YET? MON has had clout with there big money and even a former MON lawyer is our Food Czar. But with Europe beating MON back, others will follow.

Roy, I am not saying MON won't win. They are a NWO company. What I am saying is that they have "Headwinds" rising, not tailwinds and may underperform other global conglomerates in the food and fertilizer businesses.

The real tailwinds in food are two European giants, DSM and Nestle. Both are getting into "Medical food". I have been thinking of opening an overseas account to invest in DSM, but I have emailed them begging them to get a ADR. DSM is getting into third generation biofuel in a big way as well as healthy food. Read the story on the DSM home page about the DSM/POET JV, no current way to invest in POET either.

The USA has been a laggard in healthy eating, but new battles are going on with transfat, artifical sweeteners ..... Non GMO is gaining strength, IMO, in the USA. Look for more and more of the following "Headwind" articles>>>
