#3719 RE: Jar #3712

Jar, I am not sure I understand the difference between one who accepts God and one who doesn't. By your standard both are full of sin. Do you mean to tell me that one can accept Jesus as the Saviour and is continually cleansed of his sins so that when death occurs they do not ascend to Heaven and contaminate God? But how could we contaminate God if He is the Almighty? Maybe He is not perfect if we can contaminate his purity?
Some say it's a loving act for God to burn His children because they would not accept Him! It's interesting how we human beings would think it a heinous, monstrous crime if our neighbor purposely burned up his children, but when God does it, somehow it's considered OK. Many explain that God's burning up His children is just one of the strange workings, that we just don't understand, and they ignore the subject.
When Jesus came to earth he said something along the lines of If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father. I and the Father are one. Now if this is true when he was being rejected, I would consider crucifiction to be quite a serious rejection, you would have expected Fire and Brimstone to have erupted throughout the world. But instead he forgave his tormentors. How on the one hand can that be if He is one as God but God will kill the ones who simply do not believe in Him?
