Lastly and as always we will listen to your views and adapt this new and exciting service to fit them accordingly - please keep the feed-back coming.

How's that going for you so far? Are you a politician by chance?

As I mentioned on Q&A board, I am an Etrade customer and I see no use for this option. It is in no way a faster route. I could click on to my Etrade platform as quick as I could click on an IHub/Etrade link. This is obviously not for current Etrade users - it is a promotion to draw new customers to Etrade. That's ok but I don't get this part:
we wanted to make sure every existing user and all new users to iHub became aware of this new feature
If I X it out I am aware it is there and it means I don't want to see it anymore and I am not interested. I wouldn't be trying to close it out if I wasn't aware it was there.

Thanks for making me waste extra time figuring out the exact formula to adblock that PoS.

People love things that are forced on them.. really.. that always seems to make people happy.

EDIT: I've also already had to remove 15 posts that were complaining about this T as off topic posts.

WTF were you guys thinking? Is the money you're getting from this really worth pissing off your customer base??

My browser has tabs! I can have Etrade, Tdameritrade, and any other brokerage firm open already. Whats the point?

If your going to add a tab for an add that we can see, that's your businesss.
I would suggest, having the add at the top as a small click-on button that's not too intrusive.

But, . . . didn't iHub say something like; "no adds for paid members".
I never buy into anything that is intrusive or forced upon me or the public in general and, this tab is exactly that.
IMO.

For the first 30 days we wanted to make sure every existing user and all new users to iHub became aware of this new feature so we decided to have a minimize function instead of a close function on the "T" button.

Once you have seen it, you should have the option of getting rid of it.
It is annoying to say the least.

I actually like it. It would be very useful on the iHub app so we don't have to jump from app to app to execute trades.

#72 RE: IH Admin #2

well not being able to turn it off
stinks

not what I paid for........

I can see it happening for the freebies
and for say 3 days
but 30 days?
that's overkill for paying members that don't want or need it

put a spot in our preferences to turn it off
by turning it off we prove we know it exists
so mission accomplished.....

otherwise it's just like so much Obamacare shoved down our throats

and if you don't have an Etrade acct
then it's advertising....as a premium paying customer
I'm not supposed to have to look at ads and the dang thing is annoying as all get out

#75 RE: IH Admin #2

I do not like the idea of creating a link between a public forum and a brokerage account. It makes me uneasy.

Even though it is stated that this is very secure, the fact is that it is another avenue for a thief to try to use... and it will be tried....and tried... and so on... not a good feeling.

In the meantime, it would be great to have the T-square moved to the "More Tools" drop-down... or someplace else out of sight.

I would love it if this could also be added to the mobile app, would make trading easier by not having to access multiple apps.
