I agree likely VERY profitable - especially if the calls had any significant volatility priced into them. Although I don't see why last week anyone would have exercised calls that were out of the money.
Most brokerage firms will have automatic execution when they are in the money - but not out of the money - curious when the news came out? I'm not sure what the normal cut-off time is for execution orders on the expiration date.
