I agree ATL, were long past due, I think the news has had to have a "tight" lid on the pot, thus explaining the quiet time weve had. I'm sure most are ready to recover lost PPS and see some profit.

You are correct that ITAR Registration is not hard to get. It is the compliance that is difficult. They must have procedures, training and records. All employees involved in any part of the transaction or manufacturing must be US citizens or possess valid green cards. They cannot just rubber stamp the code on it. IT IS A COMPLIANCE NIGHTMARE IF YOU SCREW UP.

One post said that this is not good news, on the contrary it is evidence of planning. It may be late, but at least it was done. Bourque also received a cage code in November.

Also someone said that there will no one would be able to audit or visit the facility. Not true. As long as they are a US citizen or have a green card and permission of Bourque it is allowed. ITAR does not mean a security clearance is required.

As far as a Mexican deal, I heard that many months ago and it is not unusual for that to take 6 to 12 months. I have dealt with the Mexican, Colombian, and Argentinian governments on multi-million dollar contracts and it just takes time to get it through.
