"Not technically paid to bash..." That is exactly my point - my suspicion is that the writers are shorting, then actually paying Seeking Alpha for access to their readers - they are profiting from attacking stocks they have already shorted, using the auspice of so-called market journalism offered by Seeking Alpha. That is my theory anyway.
