I'd suggest trying it. You can always delete it if you don't like it. As for me, I use it 99% of the time, and will bet you a shiny nickel you'll like it better than IE.
Anyway, if the link DOES work with Firefox and not with IE, you can more easily pinpoint the trouble.
It also occurred to me that you might have IE in "offline" mode. Go to "File/Work Offline" and see it is checked. If it is, uncheck it and try the link again. If that doesn't work, try to get to your link by typing in the Raging Bull URL in the address bar, then re-saving the link.
