Fordow near city of Qom is the site of a previously undeclared underground uranium enrichment facility at a former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps base.Existence of Fordow was publicly revealed on September 25, 2009 in a joint appearance by the leaders of the United States, France, and the United Kingdom, after which Iran informed the Agency that it was constructing the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFEP). In its initial declaration, Iran stated that the purpose of the facility was the production of UF6 enriched up to 5% U-235, and that the facility was being built to contain 16 cascades, with a total of approximately 3000 centrifuges. Iran later said it would move its production of LEU enriched to nearly 20% to Fordow. According to the Institute for Science and International Security, two possible locations of the facility are 34.88459°N 50.99596°E and 34.94373°N 50.76056°E. .. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_facilities_in_Iran#Fordow
Not that it makes much difference to the hawks, but Fordow is not exactly new. Who controls it?
If it is under the control of the Ahmadinejad faction rather than one of the more moderate factions then..., then again if Iran was actually bombed it may not make any difference.
Anyway, it is being monitored apparently by the IAEA so that's one positive.
I agree the media and others will beat this, which seems to me old news, up.
