Eric...my oldest went to Keene State College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After garduating she went to Cornell and earned an advanced degree. She received a job offer after her 1st interview in 2008. She was a commuter student at KS and it cost me $4,200 a semester to send her....Cornell was $40,000 for one year. My youngest daughter went to American University graduating in 2008. She sweat bullets looking for a job and finally found one after many interviews. It cost me over $50,000 per year including all expenses to send her to American. I'm a BIG advocate of State schools, Community Colleges and trade schools.
Since so many children go to college the degree isn't worth what it used to be worth, and the area of study is more critical, then it ever was.
