It's a lot more complicated than money. The system is completely broken. If you think of a classroom of 20 kids as a business, that's $320k to run that business for a year. If the average school is 600 kids, that's almost a $10MM budget. That's more than enough. Like any business, you have to find out where there is waste. In the case of public schools, it's structural. I suspect the right would like public education to go away and the left just wants to through more money at the problem. Neither of these solutions will work for most kids.
