I thought about that but it would make more sense to buy IDCC first before announcing that alliance. Makes no sense that alliance would come out first. IDCC could still be an apple target but I don't see this deal announcement to be a tie to it.

Maybe there's still a lot of negotiating going on with IDCC, and if Apple does acquire IDCC, maybe they don't want Google going after Digitude in reaction to Apple buying IDCC, so it could be an "get them before Google does" type of move

I don't know what's going to happen to IDCC, but I'm going to arbitrage this mess. Buying NOK tomorrow. It is way undervalued. Settlement or buyout of IDCC will be good for NOK by removing all (or most of ) the fog of war.
