NoMoDo - But did we attack the right entity after 9/11? Did we attack the problem at it's root? Was Afghanistan the root, or was Saudi Arabia? Somehow, the Saudis have been repeatedly implicated.... 9/11, and Islamic militancy in general, required massive funding. The Saudis have the means, probably motive, and "mentality" to back an Islamic militancy campaign or movement. There is certainly more reason to implicate Saudi Arabia in the 9/11 tragedy than there is reason to implicate Iraq.... Yet we go for Iraq, and Bush is hoping "logic" is lost in the emotion of 9/11 [imo]. Go figure.....

Well now that you put it that way I guess the people who put them in power are responsible. Do you know who helped put the Taliban in power? Of course you blaming the "people" who did not rise up against the Taliban is curious because we have such a stellar record in helping people in that region. The US wanted the Kurds to rise up against Saddam. Oh, BTW they did three times and we did nothing to help. The last time we actually let Iraqi troop fly helicopters we provided in the 80's to quell a rebellion after the gulf war in 92. They got slaughtered while Bush41 did nothing.

If I just go on your line of thinking then who would be responsible for gassing the Kurds - Saddam and the people who supplied him the WMD? and who might that be?
