i make reference in my last delirium of expression:) to a book that was recently published by two 'intellectuals' from Brookings Institute that argue the Bush role in these matters are being underestimated.
I but read the review and not the book but i myself have evolved to agreeing with that view as i myself did go through the "he is just some dumb frat boy out his depth being used by the powerbrokers" phase for sometime.
I have now come to feel behind that evermore irritating smirk and his puffed out chest walk of his be a mind that believes in his infallibility and is so damn sure gawd is on his side that i think he could be even more dangerous than the powerbrokers that spawned him into the mainstream of power.
Plus i feel beneath most demagogues resides a mix of paranoia and cowardice but bizarrely also possess a massive ego that makes them feel they are born to lead and rule.
History i believe has no preordained destiny and if it takes terribly bad turn it can end wrecked at some wretched deadend.
Bush is , i feel, one of these wretched bad turns and some other who be extremely competent need get hold the steering wheel damn fast.
Even without Cheney and Rumsfeld at his side he is one wicked mistake and feel people need gain a sense that behind "the good ol'boy, ex frat boy" is something i myself personally sense to be the scent of evil.
What do we really know of this man, damned little.
Son of American royalty goes to Yale gets tutored through it and manages to learn to fly a plane, which he did well when flying over Texas--but damned if this NOW patriotic wrapped in the flag solid american was going to get himself bruised in Nam.
No let's hit the booze and snort the coke and be an asshole while daddy covers my zonked out trail.
But, lo and behold, by the Grace of Jesus he sees the light gets clean and sober and sees the American flag on the Bible cover and destiny ahead for him (Given that Daddy has many powerful friends to move me on Post Haste).
He becomes the Guv of Texas and the CRWs say 'this must be the man' he speaks our lingo and the neo-conservative glad hand themselves when they find he eats up their philosophy like a starving man (hell he hasn't thought all his life he has got to eat something up hard and fast and so yes sir Gawd is his Captain and the Far Right Wing his bed and he wants to be jolly well The President now, because He is GEORGE BUSH and gawd is showing me the way--glory halleluah!).
So really what do we know of this man---this shallow hollow man, this Straw Man????????????--Welles>>

But i resubmit my belief that Bush has become a dictator now that he has escaped failure is because he is in fact a psycopathic personality---a psycopath is inherently evil, i believe Bush to be inherently evil.
I stress i do NOT use the word psycopath lightly, it is a subject i have considered for decades--what is a psycopath, the identifying a passion of mine(as opposed to a sociopath) and Bush i brand a classic psycopath--he is evil, inherently evil

Laird, the point that this rotten man is NOW shamelessly USING the american public to SAVE HIS FACE is again the behavior of a psycopath--a person who NEVER ever accepts blame and will do whatever to make others PAY for his mistakes as he also shifts his guilt unto others.
That he has to pound the american public to give and give is because of the money pit in Iraq the U.S.Government is pouring the publics money into to finance.
The thing that blows my mind about BUSH supporters that don't have a Chalet in Aspen and an estate here and there, is this guys picks their pocket with such ease, a cliche or two and the BUSH smirk and they say "o he's the man, not a mean bone in his body".
Again this is the behavior pattern of a psycopath.
Time and again, the white collar psycopath will be referred to "but he seeemed SO NICE and friendly, i can't BELIEVE he could have swindled me of my life savings."
The majority of psycopathic personalities are extremely easy at talking BS with a smile and getting the confidence of the vast millions that are just the a collection of the plain old garden variety of P.T.Barnum's "there is a SUCKER born every minute".
A con man(the psycopath), is derived from the word confidence, some that is a cold blooded liar and manipulator that can gain the confidence of others.
My wife isn't listening/watching Imus in the morning any more because she has gotten sick of Imuses' relentless refrain," o he is a dumb sucker, but he is really a nice guy though", this the major major con-job that that BUSH is getting away with here.BUSH is not a nice guy, he is a scam artist, a consummate con man, and given his love for militarism, not a run of the mill evil con-man, but an extremely dangerous con man.
If BUSH was living in the 19th century, he would be selling "snake oil".
The american public in the main have no antenna to understand evil, the nature of evil, in short P.T.Barnum was ABSOLUTELY correct, there really are suckers born every minute.
