Hey Bruce. I wonder if you can recommend a new video card for my Terminator. I am thinking about upgrading so I can run a few of the new games.

Quad Core Q6700 2.67GHz.
P5 N32E SLI+ ASUS Motherboard.

I am looking at probably a 1GB controller, don't need the latest and greatest. Will still probably run one of the old ones for a second monitor and install the new one as a primary. $200-$250. Old video card is an nVidea GForce 8600GT.

As well, I may need to replace my memory. I am getting a few blue screens of death at regular intervals. Google searches seem to point to memory. At least its cheap. Should I stick with whats in the machine now, which I think is DDR3. Or is it important only to match the bus speed. Still running 32 bit, so I won't be getting more than 2X2GB or 4X1GB.

I am thinking about next fall getting a new blow out computer. So, that means there is no need to spend too much on this one. I would really like to juice it to the nuts although there is a nagging thought about going the laptop route. Hopefully by next fall I will be over that and ready for T6, Assault on PCPitstop.
