Uh, no. Not when IR knows the ins and out of when PR will come out, not to mention the ability to front load. It not only happens down here but it is the norm. Now dont misunderstand me I hold no malice towards any IR for doing this and of course theyre bound by insider trading rules to keep quiet for their own good, but to think that theyre on the investors side is naive. Theyre in it to get paid, thats their business whether it comes in a front end load, or middle flipping, or a back end successful result (which almost never happens).
And just to tie into your comment me, yes I do think that that is what SCG was doing all those years while Medlink was supposedly involved and backlogging things. If they werent then they missed a great opportunity. Again, pretty much the standard down here. Very hard to get caught, but they did acheive that.
