F8 is to select a boot mode for Windows.

Depending on your computer type you can press F12 and it should bring up a boot option to choose from..Hard Disk, CD-ROM..

If it does choose CD-ROM and boot from it

If not you can press F2 or F10 or Del to get into the BIOS and from there you can look at the boot devices and set it to boot from the CD-ROM first
