Thanks Steph,.. perception is not reality, it is perception interpreted therein and everybody knows everything as a result.

i don't know it all i just know a guy....

and as far as gw is concerned? he was voted in. go figure../

it goes back to the original argument and opinion of mine...

you need a license to catch a fish
you need a license to shoot a dear
you need a licence to drive a car
you need a license to lay bricks
you need a license to pull teeth

but they will let any illiterate non english speaking fence climber vote.

no training classes for the voting process
no classes in high school or college on how to vote
no adult school classes on how to vote
no on line gov training on how to vote
no notes on the frig, no flyers at your door

not 1 ioda of ever teaching Americans on how to vote, when to vote, why to vote. Only at a voters ballot or registering do we learn when the game is in session do we learn how to vote.

Yes a voters ballot covers it all. But no instruction in class or on line exists to ensure the quality and knowledge of the voter about the voting process in advance and with testing for competence.

in conclusion:

If we had such programs in place with measurment we would eventually turn out better voters simply because we put forth the effort to change the end result and that is who gets in office. At this point end up with idiots in office and stop there and don't seem to get back to who and why did we vote them in. What criteria were the voters using when making their choices, no one really knows, there should have been something in place that requires the voter to have met some basic intelligence standards otherwise we would have elected real winners..
