I agree Bull, Grub, I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Our relationship might only be on paper "some co-marketing" but in reality it's much more than "some co-marketing" and I'm sure if you were here today seeing what's happening you personally would be much more interesting in "some co-marketing".

Still, I'm not sure of your point, did you just save me the money of making your Data Center bullet-proof is this some control issue beyond the best interest of IHUB?

I simply suggested IHUB move it's servers to the best of the best Data Center and I would pay because IHUB's recent Data Center problems are beginning to reflect on OCS.

Grub, are you interested in personally paying for a new data center or are you more interesting in describing problems and relationships than fixing them?

Ken, there are plenty of top-quality colo centers in all kinds of price ranges and in all kinds of places. I've dealt with many of them since the eighties. There's nothing magical or particularly unusual about our needs in a data center; certainly our needs are more than we have received in recent weeks, yet less that I'm sure you would provision for OCS, and for good reason.

I've made my position on our recent ISP woes well know to all of the principles. The capacity to make decisions to deal with it in an escalated matter belongs to others.

The fact that you have offered to pay for the move is generous but irrelevant since cost is not the issue or the problem. If fact, it occurs to me as I'm typing this that there are several legal reasons why the servers cannot and/or should not be relocated to California.

Are you more interested in stirring shit up with a guy who could buy and sell you several times over, send us numerous accounts, help implement a slick marketing plan for OCS, implement ads on SI and IH, speak highly of us to those he's 'in' with on SI.....or building a brokerage firm?

Dave and I are both about to lose our cool with this ISP, so not a good day to be pushing his or my buttons. Or I'll push a few buttons. Like the Jail button.

Go do something productive.

Capice, Chico?

Ken, RELAX
Grub seems to care a lot about iHub.

because IHUB's recent Data Center problems are beginning to reflect on OCS.

Mind telling me how so?

The only tie-in I'm aware of is the news site and that's only getting a few hundred hits per day by fewer than 100 people.

iHub is doing about 3 million hits per day by about 30k people.

If you think you're frustrated by or having the problems "reflect on" you, try putting yourself in my, Dave's, and Matt's shoes and apply the same multiple reflected by the traffic levels and you might comprehend how frustrated we are about this.

We're starting to actively seek a new data center, which you need to understand is no trifling thing for us. Cost will be higher (but irrelevant) but consider how much downtime will be involved and the fact that we're willing to accept that as a cost of having fewer problems in the future.
