I had 19 short calls under water 2 days ago it is down to 4 as we speak. CCMP 50 Calls are one of the four. I think if I am lucky I will be able to close it for $1.50 and take the $4 for selling the FEB 50 call.

Besides gold, defense, COCO and INVN is their any particular plays that you like during this first of three stages of the "Grand Nasacre"? Also, are there any cores that may get hit hard and if I may ask. What cores or value orphans do you hold long, during these perceived down periods?

Qlogic Corp (QLGC) (38.10 -3.73)

Bear Stearns raised its earnings outlook for QLOGIC CORP., citing the storage networking equipment maker's strategic positioning. In a research note, analyst Andrew Neff said he increased his earnings outlook to $1.15 a share from $1.09 for the year ending in March and to $1.30 from $1.20 for fiscal 2004.
