Yep, completely agree. Problem isn't with their progress, although it is very slow, problem is with the fact they won't admit this will take forever and instead keep pumping it and promising things they don't deliver. Fingers crossed that the hard parts are done and whatever touch ups are needed are fast. That's far from a sure thing right now though. And they better not even think about dilution without a properly finished product with efficiency numbers. Anything less everyone will hit the road.
Gold, I truly don't think that you can make this statement with any validity:
But you have to admit the meeting was a big mistake and a fiasco
It is accurate that you were not present correct?
So your statement is based on the posts of those that were there correct?
My impression of those that were there is as follows:
Wrinkles - disappointed Beer - disppointed Tony64 - disappointed with appearance, confident it will at sometime get done and still holding shares IMO that = neutral Gw323 - happy and impressed Rfizzle - Happy and impressed
Based on those that have posted their thoughts it sounds like anything but a mistake and a fiasco.
I think the determining factor is the level of expectations that one had upon arrival to the meeting. After reading Rfizzles blog, I am bouyed by what he saw. Even the ones that were disppointed stated that their disppointment came from them thinking that were farther along than they were.
But you have to admit the meeting was a big mistake and a fiasco,
I learned a lot, Roberts presentation of the evolution of this project was enlightening and much appreciated. Could it have been put off for a couple weeks? I guess so, but that's not my call. That was a business decision WDRP made. They brought what they had. They put it all out there for us to see exactly where they were at on this project. I expected more progress based on what I read prior to the meeting, others didn't. No big deal. Robert is very fired up and confident they have technology that will take water heating to a new standard.
The meeting gave me a benchmark of where they are at. Now when I talk to Andrew weekly(or more) I can ask specific questions related to what I saw, what they told us, and what the progression will be from here to production.
Bottom line, I am very glad I went and listened to what both Robert and Andrew had to say. It was well worth it to me.
