No problem. No one wins all the time. Particularly in a very volatile environment.

Good point with the levered ETFs and decay. A lot of new traders don't know this, but it can and will erode your profits. Another reason to avoid holding these overnight.

Very good lesson for all off yours and many others experiences. The ETF's throw DD out the window & force you to be at your computer non-stop. There are no credible catalysts or dates to trade around. It is 100% speculation & takes any essence of control or predictability out of your hands.

BFR, thanks for posting your status and being so open about it. Again, it helps others feel they aren't alone. I was up huge in April and over the following 6 months, I've given most of it back. I didn't adapt to the changing environment and it cost me, a little loss here, a little loss there, a couple failed approvals I held through and vwala! This includes the last month where I decided I would start trying to play the 3x ETFs a little. And by a little, I mean tiny risks. But indeed, trading those 3x ETFs is a whole different beast then any other trading and by holding and averaging down and the cost of decay, tiny risks grew larger. I'm stuck in TZA right now, actually, and hoping I can get some type of reversal to get a bump and get out. Then, I will install a new rule that any 3x ETF trades are STRICTLY intraday....
