Battlefield 3, my opinion... (I've mainly only played team death match so I can only comment on this)
I HAVE to give it an 8.5 out of 10. It's a great game. (it probably deserves a 9 but I'm a COD fan at heart so I'm a bit biased) AWESOME graphics (blow apart pieces of builings and change the board) just like the others. That's something that BF has had over COD forever.
Great graphics, sound and reality feeling! Lots more swearing in this game than any other first person games I know of which does make it more realistic.
My fav. part is 'stabbing'. Not only do you stab and kill someone, with a a secong push of the stab button quickly, you can rip off their dog tag. This cracks me up every time, even when I'm the victim LMAO!
The ONLY negative comment I will say is that I've been spawned right in front of an enemy which I had no chance of living. I think this is something that they will fix.
Also... NEVER EVER get in a jet with me controlling it. I only tried it once and didn't take off only to burst into flaimes at the end of the runway. This is a warning!
As far as the weapons go, I can't comment too much since I haven't even scratched the surface. We are now on level 7.
I would highly recommend this game to anyone that is into first person shooter games. It's truly a masterpiece. Kudos to the developers.
