I actually like the app and can realy get hooked to it when it usable. Like you, I also though it was a joke but now I have it downloaded on my phone. If you press customer assistance button on bottom it link you to a phone no. But I firm't actually call :). Nite nite
It's not just an app, is also as remote thermostat cotroller, if you seen the gm comercial where the guy is opening the car doors from his phone is something like that. It will give troubleshooting codes and data logs that can monitor or forward to a service company if it breaks down.
