We're not going to be arbitrators of what's valid ("bs" or "good") as a sticky and what isn't.
I liken to the many situations that come up with my kids....
Kids: "It's my turn to watch something", "No, it's my turn", "You watched this earlier", "So, you watched that and I hate that show", "Uh huh, I saw you watching it the other day", "So what it's still my turn", "No, it's my turn", "Mooooommmmmmmmmm".
Me: "TV off. You guys can't agree then there will be no tv."
It doesn't behoove me to spend 30 minutes listening to them argue about who is/isn't right when they'll both have valid points and there will be no clear resolution that is "fair" in either of their minds. If they want to watch tv, then they'll come up with the compromise to make it happen. If it's more important that they "win", then neither of them will watch tv.
Maybe not a very good analogy but hopefully you see the point I'm trying to make.
