I'm merely trying to point out a chink in the armor.
Having been a mod for many boards, I liked it far better before the "stickies" came into existence.
Many stickied posts are just someone's personal opinions put into the form of "dd" or "valuations".
That's the bs I was referring to. Not news reports, etc.
But to take a different view of your analogy, it's more like one sibling saying unless I let you have your way, we're both going to get in trouble, so I guess you'll always get your way.
It used to be the only thing I needed to focus on was deleting posts, so as to lessen the burden on admins.
