SMKY may turn out, as my first penny ever, to have been a bad choice. Certainly is smoking out right now. It will be no dent in my portfolio either way. I just think the CEO is trying to build a real company. If I'm wrong, bad on me. But I certainly haven't touted it. Ask around. That crew can't stand me.
But none of what you pointed out changes the landscape that this board spends most its time discussing. No matter which few specific examples are cited one way or the other, penny stocks are overwhelmingly vehicles for fraud. I'm pretty sure everyone who's been watching for more than a few months understands this, just a matter of where you fall within the spectrum that ranges from: "geez, what a cesspool" to "boy, this sure is fun!"
