Appreciate all your comments this far, but our govenment most certainly has had a chance to 'jump in' here as we know there was a proposal/request made to the Dept of Energy, with Boeing backing 3Dicon with a letter of interest. With this much time elapsed since that news the assumption is that these proposals were denied and govt is perhaps on the sidelines along with those interested in commercial apps, waiting on a viable prototype. The amount of money that could make a huge difference for the company might have been shaken out of the petty cash drawer.
Still, I have been saying/thinking for a long time that the company would finish the prototype on their own, even like that scenario better in the end...no strings attached going forward.
