The science inside lithium-ion batteries - with the Faraday Institution
Last year’s 10Q was filed on:
NOV 08, 2023
Form: 10-Q
Description: Quarterly report which provides a
continuing view of a company's financial position
Filing Group: Quarterly
Last quarter of year, announcements tomorrow would make sense - here’s hoping
I get unsecured website when I go to Core Optics on my cell. How long does it take to to set up a website? It seems that it would be easy for Core Optics to make changes to the Coretec website. So maybe it won’t take long to make changes to it……..
I can get CRTG website but the Coreoptics.us site is non-functional.
What search engine and browser are you using?
I just get a black space it has to be my cell phone would load it for some reason.
For some reason it doesn't show ...I just brought it up again and don't see it . ?? Strange I'm looking at it with my cell phone and no video.
Just checked Coretec Group website, video still streaming but note that CoreOptics site is down today- changes pending maybe ….
Walrus, Test Pitch & quick Shift,
Do you think Coretec will be at the upcoming Battery conference in November? I wonder if they will have a booth or be a guest speaker .It would be nice to get this rolling to a great start……
I just went to CRTG’s home page and the video is still there without audio.
Recently when I go to coretecs website I don't see the video on the Home page anymore. Don't know exactly when they removed it. At least I'm not seeing it . Looks like the Home page will be changed at some point with an overview of the whole company .
I would think that if they wished, they could set up their fiscal year to begin October 1st. I don't know if it would give them more time, as technically the next report would be an Annual Report, but regardless, it might be a smart way to get this started. Normally the quarterly would be due by the end of the first week in November.
Yeah, now you can’t even access the Core Optics LLC site. We should see some new developments on the CRTG site this week
Normally you would redirecte to CRTG website if you're not goingto use the website.
I tried with google chrome to get to Core Optics LLC website, but I get the following:
This site can’t be reached
www.coreoptics.us unexpectedly closed the connection.
Try:
Checking the connection
ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED
I guess they are bringing everything over the CRTG website?
I looked at the Core Optics Web site Friday but today it takes me to a page that says there is no web address for Core Optics. Let me know what happens when you Google Core Optics if you have time .
Wow! What happened to the volume? I hope there’s good news before year end! I sent another message to management. But it disturbs me that no one answered the phone. Surely there’s someone working in the office……
Management is probably waiting till after the end of the quarter which ends Monday to give out any info . They may want to get their 3rd quarter financial business dealings so they can share that with the public , shareholders analysis etc which may help the company to get some good exposure. I would think they would do a shareholder call as well . I think it's best to be able to give a 3rd quarter overview . I bet they had a good quarter. That's what investors and potential investors and analyst want to know
While conducting R&D on silicon anode material, they (Coretec) discovered a new IP using an advanced coding methodology that can be used in other battery materials and non-battery applications, such as battery cathode materials.
That is why I mentioned this article about Hyundai and Kia. This new IP discovery might be used for the cathode synthesis process.
This is a quote from a different article about Hyundai and Kia.
“LFP battery cathode materials are generally produced by adding lithium to precursor materials like phosphate and iron sulfate. The South Korean vehicle manufacturers and their technology partners want to use the direct synthesis process, which simultaneously adds phosphate, iron (fe) powder and lithium without having to create a separate precursor. Hyundai says, in its statement on the project, that its approach of direct synthesis eliminates the precursor production step, reducing hazardous substance emissions during manufacturing and lowering prosecution costs.”

Pegs1
I may be wrong, but I believe CRTG is primarily concerned with the anode and designing it in a way to work with LFP and NMC cathodes. The Endurion project was already progressing into the pouch cell development and testing phase. CRTG is not trying to market an EV battery. CRTG is primarily concerned with utilizing the active anode material as a “drop in” solution to increasing energy density, cycling time, and shorter recharge times.
Test Pilot & Gunny
Don’t you think that Coretec would announce that Endurion battery was completed? Wouldn’t Coretec announce that the Endurion battery was being used in Hyundai & Kia EV’s? I don’t think that the battery is completed currently. It’s been a little over 1 month since ceo spoke to investors. Endurion was still being tested at that time. Even if Hyundai/kia had a sample of the battery, I would think that they would test it in their EV’s for at least 6months. I hope that I’m wrong…..
Gunny
That’s definitely a possibility. Others on this forum believe that may be the reason for no updates yet
Is it normal for a company to go this long after a major event without a press release and/or investor updates? My wife believes they may be in a quite period because of contract negotiations. Thoughts?
Here’s the quote made in the shareholder meeting in March from Matt Hoffman about using LFP and NMC cathode materials
Page 8 half way down:
“Our full-cell batteries have been fabricated utilizing two of the most widely adopted cathode materials, both LFP and NMC. Strong data results from Endurion and our focused to be a drop-in anode material, which combined with known cathode materials will make Endurion commercially successful as we go forward.”

I definitely see a potential connection. The LFP cathode was discussed by CRTG before and Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Corp are currently working with CRTG for CCM calibration. We should get an update soon if in fact Endurion is involved with this.
We have been more focused on the silicon anode part of the battery.
In the last e-mail, they stated, “In fact, the Core Optics management team is currently hosting discussions with leading Korean cathode and battery developers, showing the diversity of and interest in advancing Endurion.”
It seems to me that Endurion battery technology is more than just silicon anode.
It's just a speculation on my part, but could this article have something to do with Coretec?
“Hyundai-Kia-battery material
SEOUL, Sept. 26 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Corp., South Korea's leading automotive companies, said Thursday they have launched a joint project to develop cathode material technology for producing LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries for electric vehicles.”

In the Coretec Group Shareholder Call on March 14, 2024, they stated, “This work has also led to new innovations, specifically new IP in the form of an advanced coding methodology that will be utilized for Endurion and has the ability to be used in other battery materials and non-battery applications. We specifically wanted to call out this patent filing as it will be the primary asset that is underlying future licensing of this technology and value to the company as we go forward.”

In an e-mail on 04/16/2024, they stated, “The Endurion team’s work has achieved new IP in the form of an advanced coating methodology that can extend beyond just battery applications, which will be a major asset in the future licensing of the technology as well as the overall value of the Company.”

And in the Patent # US-20240128439-A1, phosphate is mentioned a lot.

I was reflecting about good and great news on another stock, I thought it might be worth mentioning here. In reality, if you get great news from a stock once or twice a year you should do quite well. If it's good news even once a quarter it ought to be a profitable year.
I believe we're due for at least some good news, and perhaps it will be great news.

Critical metric in my opinion. If Endurion is only par with other batteries in energy density and other measures, but it lasts twice as long? Winner.
...and durability of the anode over time, as it stands up better physically to the repeated expansion/contraction cycles.
The active anode material from the Endurion project will be superior in power density, cycle time, and recharge time. The nano particles are the difference maker in shorter recharge times and the artificial SEI is the game changer in cycle time.
Test Pilot 🧑✈️,
Yes you are right in the consistency of those batteries. I was interested in the performance data. When Coretec releases battery data, you can compare it with the performance data of these battery competitors ………
I noticed all the battery manufacturers listed in the article are using micro particles, not nano particles like Endurion is. The other companies listed also are not utilizing an artificial Solid Electrolyte Interphase (SEI) like Endurion is. Nano particles and the artificial SEI are what separates Endurion’s superior active anode material from the other technologies currently in use with other companies

Here’s battery data for our competitors. Again Coretec isn’t listed. It could be due to a NDA as stated by Test Pilot 🧑✈️. It would be nice to have a little news though……..

Only speculation on my part, but keep in mind that CRTG was receiving unsolicited requests for the Endurion technology from battery manufacturers in March and we may not see CRTG mentioned in these reports if they are partnering with a battery manufacturer that is not ready to release information with NDAs in place. Dr Kim mentioned in August that they are communicating with battery manufacturers in S Korea, which leads me to believe that the Pouch cell tests are moving forward in a positive way.

Why isn’t Coretec listed as key player? We need exposure & news! Time is ticking!….
My thoughts as well. Two buy orders of 264,581 and 266,176 went through today @ .02 certainly seems like word is getting out.
Better volume than we've had in quite a while. Word is getting out even without an update which should be coming soon. Looking forward to the start of the last quarter of the year starting Oct 1st. We will get to see the first quarterly report in mid November. At the release of any kind of press releases or updates or new website the reality that we are a new company will start to set in.
Is anybody here looking for a job?
It looks like Core Optics added a new page to their website for jobs, and it looks like they're not done with it yet.

Walrus,
What are you referring to in regards to the
“Voreyev Group” was that a typo error?
It's obvious to me a R/S isn't a priority. Theres no reason to do one . It won't help them now do get on the bigger boards because they first have to have a certain amount of revenue over a certain amount of time. That's their focus . I think they are planning to come out with a shareholders update .. they were in talks with Korean battery companies , probably doing a new web site they have partners with blue chip companies they are doing work with they are growing fast . It's only been 27 days since Dr Kim made statements in the Aug 22 press release with an overview that included news about delivering products to Hyundai and other news. The Voreyev Group went longer than 26 days with the next updates at times it was 2 months . I'm confident we have stock in a good. Company with good management !

I’ve sent 5 messages to management asking for an update on the battery. No response not surprising! This tells me that investors are the low ones on the totem pole! It wouldn’t surprise me if an update doesn’t happen until next year! This management is totally disappointing. I was hoping for a management team with honor , honesty & mutual respect……. I guess that is in dream land. At this point I’m hoping to just break even ! Pray that the battery does exceptional in its data. That next years revenue is more than 16 million! But I do see a reverse split regardless. Maybe between 20 or 10:1 ratio if not higher. CEO needs to address investors on the commercialization of the battery ……..
I'm ready for the update
Today it would be 52,862,912 , . I see we're your coming from now . Point being to that I believe CRTG can reach 50 /70 million range in revenue in time with the switch to the auto industry . It may take a few years but they have a ton of room to grow.
