A buyout offer at this time may not be in the interest of the retail investor. With the price in the 0.40's, 0.30's for the last month a premium of 100% - 200%, probably unlikely, would still be below $1.00 a share. It would not be much of a stretch to find that other parties have pushed the price down to be able to acquire a lot of gold on the cheap.
A deep pocket JV to fund drilling through 2011 & 2012 would be ideal IMO, then let the bidding begin.
