Maybe it can solve the problem that tankless water heaters generally have, i.e. the sporadic cold patches. It's very annoying. I had a Rinnai in my last home. It was brand new, top of the line, when the house was built in 2007. It still had the occasional cold patch of water that lasted for several seconds. I don't know if there is a technical term for this issue, but I have read that other brands have the same problem. I don't know if all tankless heaters suffer from this problem. If the MCMHU doesn't have this problem, that could be a nice competitive advantage. All IMO, of course.
