Conversation with WDRP about my RSVP for next Tuesday's roll out
I just finished talking with Andrew at Wanderport. And yes, I did RSVP for the MCMHU Launch meeting in Burlington, VT next week on October 25th at 2pm. That is going to be an 8 hour drive from Ohio, so I called just to see if it would be worth it. Otherwise the only thing I would get out of it is a drive through the spectacular Fall scenery.

So I asked, "What is going to be shown at this meeting? What are we going to find out about? Will there be a working unit at the meeting?" His answer: They are going to have "THE" unit at this meeting that Robert and Design 1st have been working on all along. This is not going to be a mock up unit that is just a shell with some wires and pipes sticking out of it. The pre-production unit will have the new heat exchanger in it, in addition to the new controller with stronger magnetrons and inverters. This unit will be the actual unit that will be shown to prospective manufacturers. When he takes the cover off, everyone there will see the engine that makes this thing run.

Robert will also be answering any and all questions of functionality and performance at this time. That means we're going to get the long-awaited efficiency numbers.

I asked if there would be any Industry Rags there and he said they have been invited, in addition to some manufacturers.

He also said that there is going to be a "big industry surprise" that is supposed to be something that the water heating industry has never seen. What is it going to be? We have just one week till we find out. I for one am on the edge of my seat, and this is one reason I'm driving up to Vermont to see it live.

Robert also mentioned that once the information is out they will start adding the information to the newly constructed website at http://www.wanderportcorporation.net/

So there you go. You can either RSVP for the rollout yourself and enjoy a drive up to beautiful Vermont to get more info, or you can wait until next Wednesday when I write my next post updating you on everything that is revealed...

The unit will be consisting of parts to be used for production, yes. But the one question they will not answer is if there will be a demo. BTW/ Dave Myers is out. I really liked the guy.
