Neuro, Any thoughts on this aspect of the Samyang deal, the memorandum of understanding?
I wonder if a 'memorandum of understanding' is binding yet upon either party at this stage, or it just means they are in negotiations? Presumably if an actual deal is announced there will be further payments to Cortex.
Also, I was curious if you were able to unearth any info relating to the Varney/Neurolixis question?
Thanks for any insights.
>>> In connection with the investment, Cortex and Samyang have entered into a memorandum of understanding ("MOU") regarding a potential license agreement for rights to the AMPAKINE(R) CX1739 for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases in South Korea. The MOU also provides Samyang with rights of negotiation to expand its territory into other South East Asian countries, excluding Japan, Taiwan and China, and to include rights to the high impact AMPAKINE CX1846 as a potential treatment for neurodegenerative diseases. <<<
