MOUs in general have no legal standing. They are indications of mutual intentions to work together, nothing more. Maximalexander

I cannot see how this MOU is anything but positive and in conjunction with the Servier early (not last minute) decision to move forward on its licensing, this may begin showing a pattern should there be another even small deal which would generate more interest and perhaps a better valuation.

gfp, I would think that Samyang is going to try to drum up some business in Asia and if they are successful, Cortex would certainly go along with it. An MOU might or might not be binding, but that's irrelevant. The question is how soon might Cortex/Samyang start selling product in Asia.

I'm sure Cortex would get substantial revenues from royalties due to any revenues that Samyang might receive. There might be revenues due to Cortex if the MOU develops into a contractual deal, but I think what is more important is whether or not Samyang can bring either CX1739 or CX1846 to market.
