Imagine the economy if we had spent those hundreds of billions in the US instead of the Middle East! They could have constructed REAL projects to put REAL private companies to work and create REAL jobs. But no. We spend it on blowing up things and then wasting it trying to create a "democracy" in places like Afghanistan! Heard today that the last Christian church was eliminated from that country. Funny how they will let our Christian soldiers defend them against other MUSLIM radicals, and they will take our Christian money, yet they will not allow religious freedom at all. What delusional leaders do we have spouting on about "creating democracy" in that part of the world, when they eliminate all freedoms that even exist in a tiny way?
Everyone needs to stop fooling themselves about hundreds of billions going to "defend" and "prevent" things against US interest, and stop believing in the tooth fairy. Follow the money trail. Who has benefited the most from all the money spent over there? Is it the 99.9% of the American people with more jobs, less inflation, improved retirement? Or is it the .01% of the elite who own the companies making the bombs to blow things up, and then the ones who own the companies to come back and build things back? If it were not so sad, it would be funny how everyone believes this moronic stuff spoon fed to them by a corrupt machine.
But then again, a few inept, beginning pilots, who were incompetent at best, as described by those who taught them how to fly, completely overcame our entire defense systems, flew more skillfully than our best trained fighter or commercial pilots, even stretched some laws of physics, and made us crumble our economy and give up our liberties with a few box cutters and broken English -- all at the sophisticated communications of hand-passed notes from an old guy dragging a dialysis machine around, standing almost 7 feet tall, and wearing a turban.
Yep. I guess anything is possible these days.
