In some ways it makes us worse. 3000 Americans were killed on 9/11. 6500 of our troops have been killed chasing the ghosts of 19 dead hijackers.
In essence, our Govt has killed more of our own than the "terrorists" and dropping bombs on sheep herders and killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people overseas and stripping the rights of Americans at home won't bring them back.
The bodies stack higher, the police state grows larger and the "security experts" and weapons manufacturers get richer.
20% unemployment. 45 million on food stamps yet there's plenty of money to kill and destroy.
