DR said they don't have any patents on the tech. I think he would know where to look to see for himself. It is also public knowledge that there are many other co's who are working on and have video compression technology. What would make IDCC stand out from the others in your opinion? Merrit has to toot his own horn and so he should. He runs the company. Every CEO would say they are "The Leading" and "Have the Best". In the end, I doubt this tech really matters to anyone interested in buying IDCC. Their main interests are the patents. Anything/everything else is just a bonus imo.
