Let me just say, that if Neom does have these patents, I see absolutely no chance of this being delayed again, for the mere fact that this mobile marketing is ready. Its everywhere you look, Cell phone this cell phone that. In my dreams I see all companies waiting to see what the deal between Virgin and Neom is, so everyone could start their promotions.

Persistent, all one has to hear was what WilliamFL said on what he heard the first words that came out of NEOM's lawyer. No bickering. No back and forth....

I think timing is everything here. And this is a settlement proceeding, and not a judgement proceeding.

============
Last update from today’s hearing. I just went through today’s post to make sure I wasn’t repeating everything reported earlier. The first thing said to the Judge was from the Neomedia attorney Allison Dudley “We are really, really close to a settlement” Neomedia received the settlement proposal back from Virgin last Friday May 13th. The Judge asked Allison how much more time she needed, she replied 30 days. The Judge said that time wasn’t available and that June 21st at 11:00 am was the next available time. Both parties agreed. Lupetto3 hit the nail on the head with message #17648 “Honestly, I am somewhat surprised that things are moving along at this pace.

It tells me that BOTH sides want closure to this deal so they can proceed with who knows what in terms of moving the technology forward (for both parties).
IMO both sides do want closure! For being a Federal courtroom both attorneys are very friendly and polite to each other. Just before our case was called two attorneys from different companies where ripping each other to pieces in front of the Judge over delay tactics, stalling etc. etc. Not the case with the Neomedia and Virgin attorneys. One last thing it has been my experience in the past when an attorney wants to extend things they usually request for a standard 6-8 week extension. Such as the last two times. The fact that Allison only requested 4 weeks to finalize this hint’s that, as she put it “We are really, really close to a settlement”

persistent, Are we looking for a cash settlement to Neom from Virgin and is there possibly a partnership or agreement with virgin for future sales of products in the future? Just asking.
